In the first quarter of 2023, the top travel and local apps on Android in the Czech Republic exhibited diverse performance metrics. Here’s a closer look at their weekly downloads and active user trends, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel showed a consistent increase in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 3.1K in late December and peaking at around 4.7K by mid-February. Despite some fluctuations, its weekly active users steadily grew from 110K to nearly 120K towards the end of March.

RegioJet experienced a notable rise in weekly downloads, which spiked to about 2.7K in mid-March from a lower base of 1.6K at the start of the quarter. Its weekly active users also saw a gradual increase, reaching a high of 15K by mid-March before slightly dipping to around 14K by the end of the quarter.

OMV MyStation v Česku had a varied trend in weekly downloads, starting at 1.5K and peaking at about 2.7K in mid-March. This app did not provide data on weekly active users.

Google Earth maintained a stable download rate, with numbers ranging from 1.5K to 2.1K throughout the quarter. The weekly active users mirrored this stability, increasing from around 12.8K to 14.3K by the end of March.

Lastly, Yourwallet saw a significant rise in weekly downloads, reaching a peak of 2.7K in mid-March from a starting point of 659 in late December. The app also experienced an increase in weekly active users, climbing from 3.8K to almost 7K before settling back to approximately 5.3K towards the end of the quarter.
